This is a 3D printed replacement bracket for Sony PVM models 904x / 804x (9-inch) and 6041 / 5041 (6-inch). Both models use the same part, so this bracket is a direct replacement for either size. Each monitor requires two brackets (one on each side), so check whether you need one or a pair.

The original brackets are almost always cracked or broken, and no replacements are available. I designed this reproduction from scratch to restore proper support for the D and B boards in these monitors.

• Material: Printed in ABS for better durability and heat resistance. These little monitors tend to get hot on the inside.

Design Updates & Improvements

• Simplified Tabs: The original had extra side tabs whose purpose was unclear, so these were removed for a cleaner design.

• PCB Retention: Instead of fragile snap tabs, the design uses a flexible rectangular extrusion. Use a small flathead screwdriver from underneath to lift the tab and slot the PCB in place. Original tabs are hard to replicate for 3D printing.

• Zip Tie Option: A notch and hole have been added to allow the use of a tiny zip tie for extra PCB security.

• Streamlined Areas: Certain features that added complexity but no real function were omitted.

This bracket is a practical, durable solution to replace the brittle stock part and keep your PVM’s boards securely in place.
