About

My name is Rami Al-Q, also known online as Rondooooo on several Discord channels and social media platforms.

VsGravity began with the BKM-32X and 35X project, created to provide BVM owners with an affordable control unit mounting kits that was otherwise nearly impossible or very expensive to find. When I first got my 20F1, sourcing one was extremely difficult, so I set out to design an accessible alternative. Since no 3D models existed online, I had to build everything from scratch.

Learning 3D modeling, researching CNC processes, and studying sheet metal fabrication were all part of the journey. The most challenging step, however, was finding a manufacturer willing to produce the kits at a reasonable cost. Even in China, quotes would have pushed the price well beyond $400 per kit. After reaching out to nearly 50 manufacturers, I finally found one locally in the UAE, which allowed me to personally inspect prototypes and avoid long waits or expensive shipping. After about a month and nine prototype iterations, the final design achieved the fit and finish I was aiming for.

While VsGravity started with the BKM-32X and 35X, it is only the beginning. The goal is to evolve into a dedicated space for CRT restoration parts, replacement components, and accessories. Many exciting products are already planned and will be launched in the near future.
